South Bend has a great Farmers Market that is over 100 years old! There are fewer and fewer public places where people come together. While it is true that people are coming together for commerce, the experience is much more like an economy of grace than dollars and cents. It’s wonderful to see beautiful ordinary people come together and exchange so much more than money…smiles, conversation, art and the peace of being in touch and in love with each other and a community.
